She reminded me that the birth was my choice, that I had options and I was able to explore what was right for me. Not only did she help me believe in myself, she provided me with evidence based studies to show it was possible to plan a vaginal birth after two sections. She helped me to focus on the positives as I tend to focus more on negatives. Vicki checked in on me regularly offering guidance and support whenever it was needed. She helped prepare birth plans for both types of births and continued to remind me that it was my birth and my choice. Vicki believed in me at the times I didn't believe in myself, and I'm so very very grateful for all that she did. Although I didn't get the birth that I had hoped for, I did get satisfaction in the fact that I did everything I could to try and get it & I fought for it till the end. That wouldn't have been possible without Vicki.

"Vicki offered me support when I was in hospital just before my daughter was born. She provided me with verbal support as well as emotional. Vicki talked through options and also helped me to keep calm. She was on the other end of the phone whenever I needed her when it came to my birth, but due to it being a C-section I had my partner present in the birth, but Vicki offered support once I was in recovery. She also brought me items to the hospital to aid with my recovery.
